Concert DressBLACK and BLACK attire for most concerts is as follows:
Girls - BLACK dress pants with a BLACK short sleeve blouse, with black shoes. NO T-shirts or jeans, no skirts, no dresses, shirts with logos, pictures, or slogans will be allowed. Boys - BLACK dress pants with a BLACK long sleeve button-up dress shirt, with black shoes, and a black tie. NO T-shirts or jeans, shirts with logos, pictures, or slogans will be allowed. Hair- Ladies- Hair/bangs must be pulled back off of your face. Suggestion: Half up and half down hair is perfect. Men- Hair must be tidy and maintained. If your hair is long, you must pull is back and off of your face. Facial hair must be cleanly shaven or trimmed. Students jewelry, make-up, clothing, fingernails, and hairstyle need to be such as not to call attention to any one person as an individua. All of us should put the group first. Attendance Policy
All performances are mandatory. All choir students must perform unless:
For pre-arranged absences: The director must be notified well in advance (2 week minimum) via email, phone call, or conference. For illness or emergency:
Performance No-Shows: Students will receive a zero for their performance grade if they do not attend a performance. Excused Absences: Students will need to complete a make-up assignment in order to fill the grade. See the director for details. Conflicts with Chorus: Resolving conflicts between chorus and other activities or events is the responsibility of the student. Performance schedules are given out at the beginning of the school year so arrangements can be made for the entire year. If transportation is going to be an issue for your family, please contact me and I will gladly assist in trying to find an alternative ride. |
